E-2 Visa

E-2 Visa

"You are one step closer to obtaining the E-2 Visa."

An attractive option for individuals holding citizenship in countries that have bilateral agreements with the United States is the “E Visa.” The United States has entered into treaties with specific countries aimed at promoting trade and investment, thereby encouraging commercial relationships. Citizens (individuals or companies) of countries that are part of these treaties with the United States can obtain visas to work in the United States to develop and direct their investments in and/or trade with the United States.
The E visa can be used by single investor enterprises as well as large multinational corporations. It’s important to note that the E visa is a work visa and does not lead to obtaining a green card. Please contact us for further clarification.

To qualify for the E-2 Visa, the applicant must meet certain criteria, including:

Once granted, the E-2 Visa allows the applicant and their family to reside and work in the United States while the business continues operations. The visa is typically issued initially for a period of up to five years and can be renewed indefinitely as long as the business continues to meet the eligibility requirements.

Citizenship of an eligible country

The applicant must be a citizen of a country that has a treaty of commerce and navigation with the United States. Not all countries are eligible for the E-2 Visa, so it's important to check the list of designated countries.

Substantial investment

The applicant must make a substantial investment in a business in the United States. The exact amount of the investment can vary depending on the type of business, but it generally involves a significant amount of capital.

Job creation

The business must have the potential to create jobs for American workers. Although there is no specific number of jobs required, the creation of job opportunities in the U.S. is an important aspect of eligibility for the E-2 Visa.
