An attractive option for individuals holding citizenship in countries that have bilateral agreements with the United States is the “E Visa.” The United States has entered into treaties with specific countries aimed at promoting trade and investment, thereby encouraging commercial relationships. Citizens (individuals or companies) of countries that are part of these treaties with the United States can obtain visas to work in the United States to develop and direct their investments in and/or trade with the United States.

To qualify for the E-2 Visa, the applicant must meet certain criteria, including:

Once granted, the E-2 Visa allows the applicant and their family to reside and work in the United States while the business continues operations. Job creation

The business must have the potential to create jobs for American workers. Although there is no specific number of jobs required, the creation of job opportunities in the U.S. is an important aspect of eligibility for the E-2 Visa.
